Egg Producers Central Union
YUM-BİR was established by egg producers in 2006, in accordance with the provisions of the Agricultural Producer Unions Law No. 5200 and T.R. It was established with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; It is a national umbrella organization that operates to contribute to the development of the egg industry in Türkiye.
YUM-BİR is a semi-official producer organization that works to find solutions to the problems faced by the sector, to support product and market development, and to protect the rights and interests of its members.
There are 10 unions and over 400 producer members established in the provinces and districts where egg production is intense. Sub-unions; From Afyonkarahisar, Balıkesir, Bandırma, Bolu, Çorum, Gaziantep, İzmir, Kayseri, Konya and Manisa Egg Producers Associations is formed.
All members affiliated with YUM-BİR, T.R. Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry It is included in the records and carries out its production in accordance with the biosafety and traceability standards determined by the Ministry.
YUM-BİR, as a producer organization; It encourages the production of reliable and high-quality eggs from healthy flocks, and adopts increasing the competitiveness and welfare of its members and increasing productivity in enterprises as its main goal.
At the same time, it carries out press, communication and awareness activities in order to ensure that the nutritional value of eggs is correctly understood in society and to increase consumption.
YUM-BİR represents the Turkish egg industry on national and international platforms; WEO (World Egg Organisation) As a member, it contributes to the development of common sense and cooperation culture in the sector.
